Today I let go of all the busyness of hearth and holiday and pack my few
bags and headed for my cottage by the sea in Maine. I travel light, usually
with only three ‘satchels’ —a cooler, a bag for books, a tote for clothes and
sundries, and a backpack for my computer. Today, because I’m just getting
settle up here for the winter, I filled a paper bag as well.
This
feels like I’m lettingofstuff because it’s all I need. I could live light; in
fact I do when I’m here. I love the silence, solitude and simplicity of it all.
(If you want to know more about that, check out my blog, www.acottagebythesea.net.)
