Friends came over last night and we had gifts for them: a book about
skiing from the put-and-take, a lovely frame with a couple of pictures taken
years ago when we were all young. Memory Lane it was. And then, since we invited
their dog, a dog dish, also from the put-and-take.
Without a doubt our friends loved these gifts. However, we told them
about our project and gave them our blessing to let them go when they were
ready. After all, they don’t need stuff any more than we do.
