Day 1/365. It’s time to go, piggy banks!
IT’S TIME TO GO. Every day it’s time for something to go, something
in this big house, with an attic, cellar and barn, where we’ve lived for
thirty-four years. I don’t need to tell you how we accumulated all the stuff.
Your own version will do just fine.
The way we envision our yearlong/daily project is this. Every day we
will find something in our house that we don’t want or need. The recipients of
our items will be varied—our grown children and grandchildren, other relatives
and friends, the church fair, Goodwill, the ‘put and take’ at the town dump, and the dump itself. So here’s our first
treasure.
Day 1/365. It’s time to
go piggy banks. We have to let you go.
My husband got the big white
bank at the ‘put and take’ but we can’t remember where the two little ones came
from (One is actually an elephant). What does that say about our memory?
Clearly a good reason to send them on their way. These three are going to
the church fair.
