When was the last time you ladies cleared out your jewelry box? Every
time I go through mine I am amazed at the odd pieces I find--you know, those
‘half’ earrings, and things like that. Then there are all the pins, necklaces
and pendants that I haven’t worn in years, and that will never decorate this
body of mine again. Age, fashion, life style all play their part in the letting
go or keeping process.
I
have ended up with three letting go piles. The intact pieces are on their way
to the church fair. The bits and piece I will send to a creative friend who
makes jewelry. What’s left over is already in the trash.
