Day 145/365 It’s time to go, favorite sandals

Even though it’s going to be in the nineties today my granddaughter and I are going to Boston to walk through the Public Garden, maybe take a ride on the Swan Boats, wander around Beacon Hill, visit the Granary Burying Ground and King’s Burying Ground, and have lunch at Quincy Market. Even if these sandals were in good shape, I wouldn’t be wearing them—for this kind of walking I need sneakers.
The seam on one sandal has ripped and it would probably cost the price of a new pair to have it repaired. I hate, throwing them away, but sadly it time to let them go.
